The Buffalo Bills will be looking to punch their ticket to the AFC Championship Game for the first time in 27 years when they host the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday night as slim 2.5-point home favourites on the NFL odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.
Buffalo tallied its first playoff victory on home turf in a quarter century with this past weekend’s 27-24 win over Indianapolis as a 7-point betting favourite, and now rides a seven-game straight-up win streak into Saturday night’s matchup at Bills Stadium.
The Bills failed to cover the spread against the Colts, snapping a seven-game win streak against the spread at betting sites. However, Buffalo has produced steady results while favoured at home by three or fewer points, enjoying a 6-1 SU and 4-2-1 ATS run.
Baltimore’s recent strong play also represents a big concern for the Bills. The Ravens tallied a 20-13 win in Tennessee over the weekend to extend their current SU win streak to six games, and have also held the Bills to nine points per game during a three-game win streak.
Earlier on Saturday, the top-seeded Green Bay Packers host the Los Angeles Rams as 7-point chalk in NFC playoff action. The Cleveland Browns visit the Kansas City Chiefs as 10-point underdogs on Sunday afternoon, and that is followed by a clash of NFC South rivals as the New Orleans Saints take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as 3-point home favourites.
The Packers return from last weekend’s bye vying for a sixth straight victory. Green Bay has also been steady on the frozen tundra at Lambeau Field, going 7-1 SU at home this season, and winning outright in three straight playoff contests. The Rams aim to build on last weekend’s 30-23 upset win in Seattle, but face a host of injury concerns as they look to earn their first road win over Green Bay since 2006.
A COVID-19 outbreak that kept them off the practice field for over a week failed to slow down the Browns as they marched to a 48-27 victory over Pittsburgh that marked the team’s first playoff win on the road since 1969. Cleveland has now won five of six on the road, and faces a well rested Chiefs squad that led the NFL with 14 SU wins but which has gone 0-7-1 ATS in their past eight games according to the OddsShark NFL Database.
The Buccaneers offence continued to click in a 31-23 win in Washington last weekend that extended their road win streak to six games. However, Tampa Bay is just 2-10 SU in its last 12 visits to New Orleans ahead of the team’s first-ever playoff date with the Saints.
